Right now, you may just have a little bit of spending money. What do you spend it on? Explain.
I would spend it on vinyl or cake decorating stuff In Confessions of a Shopaholic & the ESPN 30 for 30 Broke, there were lots of examples of how to not manage your money. Why do you think we watched these movies? What lessons did you learn? What can you apply to your life? Explain.
we watched them help show us not blow our money. its better to save than to spend.it can apply to my life to help me not spend money to save it. If you were a professional athlete and friends/family asked you for money, how would you handle it? Explain.
I would give them just a little no more than a hundred dollars. In the 36 minutes we watched yesterday, there were a lot of outrageous and excessive purchases mentioned. Which one purchase caught your attention the most? Why did it stand out to you? Explain.
they spent money on jewelry. that were spend like millions of dollars on watches. necklaces and much more. Last week, we watched Confessions of a Shopaholic. How did you like it? What did you enjoy most? Explain. What did you learn that was helpful? Explain.
I LIKED IT. I ENJOYED WATCHING HER OVER COME BE A SHOPAHOLIC. I LEARNED TO SPEND ALL MY MONEY. Rebecca makes several references to her mother in relationship to her spending behaviors. Rebecca tends to have the opposite values and behaviors of her parents. Describe, in four or more sentences, one example of a behavior related to money that you have learned from your parents (or an example involving a friend and their parents)?
ebecca made many decisions related to her finances in this movie. Choose two that you consider to be wise decisions and two that were unwise. Explain why you consider these to be positive or negative decisions.
two that were unwise was to but the green scarf after she knew she owed over 900 dollars to her credit card company. also when she bought those boots that she fought over with that other lady. two wise decisions were was to try to take her advice. also to save her paychecks and not spent them one stuff she doesn't need. Did Rebecca made a good first impression during her interview with Successful Saving magazine? Why or why not? Why did Luke hire her? Explain.
no. she didn't know anything about saving money. Today we begin a new movie, "Confessions of a Shopaholic". Have you seen it? Over the rest of the week, we will watch clips & answer questions about it each day. The questions will be checked for a daily grade like the blogs are done weekly. How do you feel about that? Explain. Next week, we will begin a project that goes along with the movie.
